Sorta yes. Insurance paid out for the OTHER car. We only had liability, so I got zero for our car.
Yes, the local yard allows power tools, just Not grinders or torches.
Edit: which is odd, because I have 100% made sparks using the reciprocating saw cutting hardened steel.
