I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who has to deal with trees E36 M3ting on my cars. The GLH is great. I look forward to seeing more progress on this car.
John deere gloss black spray paint for the engine bay. E36 M3 doesn't even lose gloss after being on fire briefly!

It is super fustrating, I am super far behind, I was planning on having the car running by now.

Ironically that's what the cars currently painted with.
Oh just so you know, I set a smoke show off going down the road in one of my junkers. Pyro was behind me as I skidded to a stop and baled. I couldn't see where I was going.
PO booger welded/screwed radiator brackets on to fit the intercooler and move radiator over. Had to remove them to fit ac lines.
once they where removed there was a big ass crack and holes.
had to take care of that

Well crap. I have built an automatic but it's not really my favorite thing. I have never messed with a transaxle.

Not.my first thankfully, won't be my last either. Found a bunch of metal and rtv inside
The bent crank 3hp motor on super charger is not enough for the 90amp alt when a battery is dead flat. Time for some updating.
here is a before picture.
In comes a 6.25 HP Brigs with electric start, fresh from the junkyard. The electric start is a big deal for me because that three horse Tecumseh does not start nice in the cold and that's when you seem to need it the most.
Battery is all mounted up. Don't forgot this thing is built almost entirely of scrap metal and free parts, battery is the first "new" thing on it
All the welding and bracket building is done. The light is in effect of leaving man children alone at night.
let me introduce "supercharger delux"
now featuring:
led light
electric start
30 more charging amps
Volt gauge
3.25 more HP
Will be posting a little video soon.

Can you tell me where you put the temp probe for this gauge?

Where that hose goes into the head there. That is one of a few unused spots on non turbo 2.2/2.5

Thats Awesome!
I liked the old one but now I really will have to build one.
In reply to Bent-Valve (FS) :
The new deluxe version is a touch over the top, but no regrets doing it.
