People on this board have made complete MK1 Mr2s and Mustangs out of fiberglass, so your rear deck lid and wing could be a nice collaborative GRM project to document.

Yes, I am an old friend of the VERY fast Mr. Slowe... probably known him about 15 years now?
My Bimmer is there getting its annual inspection and it is always nice to see what kind of projects he has sitting in the shop. I used to be a turbo Dodge guy way back in the day and still have a great fondness for them.
...did the rights or molds get sold to someone else for the MT900 or earlier models?
They are still sitting in some containers behind the factory.
Some day I want to have the original Recaro seats redone. While I have them out, I bought a pair of seats to use. Only $200 for the pair.
Nice price! Where did you get them?
Found them on craigslist in Orange county Calif. I was down there seeing my Dad, so went and looked. I shipped them home for $60
I installed the rebuilt a-arms today. Just when I was finishing UPS showed up today with my rebuilt Bilstein shocks.

Ha! They had an interesting solution there?
(Looks like a cut open tranny mount and passenger mount)
why would they do that?
Well I fabricated and changed brackets and finally after about 8 hours got the seats (shown in above post) fit into the GTP. Then I tested them. Very supportive and comfortable. BUT...The back of the seat is too tall and when back far enough for my tall legs, it sticks out the back window. So they are up for sale. I have $200 plus $60 shipping into them. (total)
Just took a 2400 mile trip in the car and realize the rear shock valving is way too soft. Going to pull them back off and send them back for a re-valve.

2400 miles? Bravo!
Congratulations on the road trip!
Maybe you have seen this interview of Warren Mosler recently posted on the motortrend youtube channel:
I always liked the gtp's as I was a big turbo dodge guy The interview sells me on the GTP and Mr. Mosler's car guy views.
Does it have room for any more luggage than a handbag?
Has room for two soft bags, like the kind you carry on to a plane. Or a sports bag.
Had the AC fixed today. Not needing it here now, but for the trip to the June's national Turbo-Dodge event in Chicago we just might. Was low/out of freon after 20 years! ....but passed vac test. Refitted it with 134.
