Drilling the threaded holes and pressing in studs
Assembled one trailing arm and started laying out the rear suspension placement

Thanks, me too! Can't wait to see them tucked up in the wheel wells.
I have temporarily removed some sheet metal. This will be modified and reinstalled later.
Why are all my frame rails always filled with pecans??
Progress on the rear suspension. Decided to save the VW torsion housing for another project. Went with aftermarket mounts and heim joints
More details to follow
Rear coilovers are from the front of a 1st gen miata. Perfect fit! I used these on the front of my Yamaha R1 Autobianchi micro car also. I think these will work well here also!
Now that the suspension is done, I am fitting the body to the chassis to determine upper rear spring mounts and cage mount locations
Cut out the wheel wells up front and the arches in the rear to determine new placement
So much awesome! I was watching this on youtube the other day. What happened to the Jeep cab-over thing?

Thanks! Still trying to get the roof line of the Jeep under 7'. It will eventually happen, just not in a hurry
I clicked on this having only read the subject. I immediately said to myself “If this guy runs into any problems he should try contacting that Ben_Modified guy”. It wasn’t until a couple minutes later I realized IT ALREADY WAS YOU!
