We had several beers then made a deal on a fuel solenoid. Decided that sure it'll be easy.
Picture of us looking at where we'll run everything.

Me back in Jacksonville waiting on two bottles to be filled. Next is pick up Lil Stampie from school and head back. Floating Doc, Pete, TVR Scott, and Kirk (TVR Scott's cousin) are great. They're mounting and wiring the nitrous back at the track.
Today I ran installed a 100 shot nitrous kit for the first time.
Today I also made my first ever drag run in a really slow car.... With a 100 shot of nitrous.
It was awesome.
We're home. The saying for the weekend was "better than expectations". This car just delivered. Overall 25th out of 38 I believe. In the autocross several other teams said they were surprised at how well it ran. In the drags I was told people said we'd have a hard time getting into the 18s right before I drove it to a 16.6. Concours we scored a 14.25 which is way better than I expected. She's a good car that loved dressing up as a race car for the weekend.
I can't say enough good things about Eric, Scott, Kirk, and Pete. They helped me in so many ways. Just being able to head back to Jacksonville to pick up Lil Stampie during autocross was great. I felt like they just knew what to do all the time. I'd find myself standing around doing nothing because every time I went to do something they would already be doing it. It was my best Challenge ever because of them. Added bonus was seeing how much of a good time three Challenge newbies had. Thanks guys for everything.
Stampie's offer to be on his team was the best thing that could have happened for me this year.
If I had been able to bring the Morris, I am certain that I wouldn't have had as much fun.
Last year I was here as a volunteer to help with the autocross. People were welcoming, but for me there was a little bit of that feeling of being the new kid at school. That's all behind me now.
I can't begin to express how grateful I am, and how much fun I had!
In reply to Stampie :
I'm really touched by what you said. We had a wonderful time and I couldn't be happier that our help and friendship made it such a great event for you too.
Eric and Pete, I really enjoyed meeting you guys too.
We're already talking about coming back out next year!
This morning I installed the passenger seat so that I could win school pickup line one last time with the Buick. It's funny how many looks this car gets. Shame I'll have to put the bumpers on and remove the stickers to sell it.
Threw the Buick up on CL yesterday. The first nonscammer that contacted me came this morning. Bye Buick. It was fun.
