The forum is what I usually do when I'm not doing what I should be doing. Others as well, I'm sure. Which is why traffic seems to be higher here on workdays.
Still can't post pictures....
Any thoughts? I assume its just me...
No go from the phone or laptop.
I get an amazon server error if I try the drag and drop method.
I turned my router off for 15 minutes in case I had been dynamically assigned a black listed ip.
Clear your history and relaunch grm worked for me
Nope
nada
zip zilch
Cleared history
restarted browsers
reset password
Still no go from laptop or from cell...
emailed grm yesterday, no response yet
Could this be the end of a_florida_man?
instead of drag and drop, try the little picture icon to upload individual images or copy from your favorite image viewer and paste in the comment box.
Heres one of the images I think you might have tried to post

control v does not work either
when drag and drop fails I get an error about not being able to upload to an Amazon server.
I Can post pics again!!!
Ill explain this later.... ;)
ok, lets start over..
On 10/5 I made a quick trip over to help a buddy pick up a 60 Caddillac.
If you EVER go to pick up a 59 or a 60.
Bring ALL of your trailer with you, because you are going to need it.
It makes the $wd 3/4 ton Suburban look like a Trailblazer.
An on that note, bring all of the truck you have with you too... especially the brakes.
You have probably seen my 1969 Corvette Roadster project in my Driveabeater C3 Thread.
After starting in on that, we came up with the father / son idea of taking it on HOTROD Power Tour next summer.
When that idea floated around for a while, it became obvious that the whole family should go... but in what?
So unless tb has a 4 or more seat classic passenger car, ah er um, up "for sale" (just kidding tb you are still legend around here with Jack.)... it looks like it might be a choice between these two:
#1 1960 Impala V8 Sport Sedan
This car basically runs, stops and is almost in road trip condition, as is. Looks to be pretty clean, with a respray in original red.
#2 1956 BelAir Sport Sedan with *****FACTORY AC*****
In a barn in Kansas since '76, recently in a pole barn in AL for 10 to 15 years. 265 V8- Powerglide (drive train out of car) PS PB PW Power Seat AC, Electric Eye, original AM radio, reverse light, upgraded trim, good glass, original paint, very little rust. Loaded like a baked potato but a little more wrenching needed overall.
#3 ????????????
something one of you car freaks out there knows about that needs to be saved.....
Thoughts?

Lets just say that this was a deal I was offered when I wasn't looking... and I should have been..:)
The one that got away! But the back story ends well as I now have a new friend as a result!
That 60 impala gets my vote. Twice. Add tbi, ac, overdrive, discs, and cruise it. Leave the patina. God its so right....
You missed one Impala, don't miss the second one.
They essentially cost the same, but there are some title issues that complicate the '60 Impala, and it needs a windshield due to hurricane damage. And again, it has been painted... who knows whats going on there. I DO really like the styling.
The 56 Bel Air is an AC car which is super rare. Its also original paint so what you see is what you get. I also like the idea that it has been out of the weather since I was in Kindergarten.
But I'm second in line for it. Ill know Tuesday if it's sold or not.
Im leaning toward the BelAir based on the re-sale and originality.
Well, scratch the 56.
It has apparently sold, I knew I was second in line.
A '57 has entered the chat... a phone discussion will determine which I go to see this weekend, the 60 or the 57.
......sigh
And the '60 is gone. It didn't make it to the weekend, when I would have had the time to go and see it.
But i think that's ok.
The '57 is looking like a good value and a good choice for the goal of being a family ride for HotRod Power Tour.
1957 210, PS, power Disc Brakes, TH350, original v8 car, set up for sbc (last engine failed), Vintage air AC, Rack and pinion, aftermarket radio, alluminum radiator, decent interior, good exhaust, electric wipers etc...

That's the plan... but he is in the Navy and is on a rotation that is hard to mesh up with.
Super nice guy though, so I expect that it will happen, just have to be patient.
That is really pretty. What drivetrain would you add?
In reply to hobiercr :
I would just go back with a mild 350 sbc like it had.
Evidently some of the last engine is included.
