That would be something.. but I actually have my sights set a little higher for the next car, like turning a $10k car into a $40k car. Yeah, I know, sounds crazy, my wife is probably going to kill me, I probably am crazy for attempting it, but it was too good a deal to pass up.

OMFG this sounds like a fantastic idea and you need to do it!!!
This BMW build was excellent. Super thorough and entertaining build. The buyer is going to end up owning a nice car.

So you've already bought the next project?

Find a rough G50 911? Seems low for a rough one and that much is high even for a premium example that would need more than the sale price to get it there. Maybe a 308 Ferrari?, but again it's going to be seriously rough for $10k, like sporting a V6 chevy engine rough. An abandoned Cobra kit car maybe?
Late-60's numbers matching American coupe (Camaro, Chevelle, Mustang, hemi Dodge...) built up for the auction block?
A ratty Nissan GT-R brought to the US a year or two before its legal date, restored to great condition?
Muhahaha, I love stirring the pot. Adrian is the closest here. Hell I'll even add a couple of pictures.
It followed me home in this.
and here's a teaser shot.

I'll get a build thread started in a few days. I have to make more room in the garage before I can really start to work on this thing.

Just wait till you see the car though, you might not hate me as much.
