1948 F5 cab, 1929 Diamond T (I think) flatbed with new wood. Chassis and drivetrain are 2002 F250 Super Duty. 5.4 Triton V8, manual transmission (6 forward gears counting Low and Overdrive). Build thread. Decided I wanted to make sure it'd start before I started shortening/lengthening the harness, couldn't make it go. Suspect I'm missing a ground somewhere, as the F250 ran before I stripped it and I kept everything from the harness.
Located near Kansas City. Looking for $750. Buy it and make a run for glory at the first annual Grassroots Offroadsports Challenge?

That is absolutely awesome. Id love to see what some of the creative folks here could turn this i to!
Well I need it, but I'm not sure how to get it.....
zero need. want meter is pegged. woe is me.
berkeleying hell I want this.
How big a tow vehicle would I need to use in order to live in once I got kicked out of the house for buying this?
In reply to Brett_Murphy :
The trick is, this IS the big berkeleying tow vehicle. Photos don't really do it justice with regard to scale. The top of the hood is nearly 6 feet high. And it really wants 36 or 40" tires rather than the 32's that are on it, so that'd add another couple inches. And it is... heavy. Though less-so than the F250, but I'm guessing 5,000lbs or thereabouts.

You sir are evil, sending me this link and me being so close.
Aargghhh....
My wife is happy you're in Kansas, and I'm in Maryland!
Trades? 1977 Yamaha XS650. Currently no spark, but I just purchased an electronic ignition and advance.
If I could figure out how to get that to "LA" (S.E. Alabama) I'd have no problem talking my "Financial Manager" into that. I don't have time to go get it, and NO extra money for shipping. It would make a fine companion for my 48 COE!!!!
In reply to bigeyedfish :
You have PM.
In reply to 03Panther :
Actually, I'm headed to SE Alabama in a few months. Wish I could say it would be a cinch to drag it down there with me...
I'm just a bit west of Dothan. What part of Kansas are ya in? Would you be driving anything big enough to pull it? I could help with the fuel costs. O by then I'll have some vacation, and my F-350 will def. do it.
Def. needs to be this ones stablemate!
Silly newbe question... um... where do I access a PM from?
This was always one of my favorite builds! So sad to see it moving on. Trying to talk my dad into it as he is in great bend.
Looking forward to finally getting a chance to get out there to meet y'all and pick up my "new" toy!
PM sent; give me a call.
I am beyond jealous. If this was somehow a crew cab, I wouldn't have slept until it was in my driveway
Finally headed to Kansas, to get Charlie ready for a road trip!

Plan is to make dependable enough to DD pulling a gooseneck w/bobcat and DitchWitch for Murray Irigation. Might put a great running 7.3/5sp. 4wd case straight in( from 95 work truck) right off. We ain’t sure yet. Very stoked!
‘Course first I’ve got to get AAA of AR. to unlock Big Red, so the dogs can go potty! SHMBO and I got to go, but didn’t work out so well for them. I am kinda in hot water right now...
