Wow, you'll really do anything to avoid sleeping Thursday night.
Well, it looks like the rear hatch (notorious rust spot on these) still has more paint than holes. That may be a good sign.

I have an appointment to go look at it this evening. Are you serious?
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
If it's there I'll work on it! I have absolutely no experience with Alfas, however.
EDIT- I will also commit to helping figure out planning/logistics beforehand, as well as donating existing parts that may fit. Can't promise I'll be able to pay for anything.

That's good enough for me. He describes it as a complete car all there but intake was taken off for some reason. Hope to know more later.
If 4x100 is close enough to 4x98, I have wheels and tires.
If I may suggest a team name, Scuderia Posteggio has a nice ring to it.
One concern I would have is that it looks like the inlet has been left open. Check if there are any intake bits (you know, like the Spica injection these came with) with the car.
In reply to BoxheadTim (Forum Supporter) :
He said the intake was with the car and then said someone wanted to buy the intake by itself. I don't know if I understood him totally correct but I think this has been converted to carb.

I'm afraid to google that and see what it means.

I've got a selection of wide steelies in 4x98. both 13 and 14 inch... need tires though.
After watching the wiring......issues on the MR2 parking lot build, I'll be the first to try and track down a carb for this if we're going to make it a parking lot thing.
In reply to mazdeuce - Seth :
When you're working on ignition wiring, make sure you are testing using starting fluid that is actually flammable.
In reply to mazdeuce - Seth :
Four two bolt carb boots intended for some sort of bike engine. Four small carbs intended for some other sort of bike engine.
If the intake has been left off, make sure the engine rotates. Offer $$ accordingly.
If it has been swapped to carbs, I'm crossing fingers for dual side draft webers (please, please, please)!
Also, it had/has AC. If this does turn into a parking lot build, my vote would be to not modify it too much as it looks like it could be flipped pretty easily.
The big question is cut springs or find a spring set for it?
