It's live! Pretty sure this is fine to post on GRM but if it's not, feel free to pull down.

Whoa, bidding only at $5,900 with one day left. I hope this creeps up a bit as the auction concludes.
Let me know how your experience with C&B goes. Thinking about putting my XJR on there because Texans arent too big on Jaguars lol
In reply to Hoondavan :
Tell me about it... I'm guessing the majority of bids will be tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
In reply to yupididit :
Will do. So far it's been a good experience. If I get ~1/2 of what it's worth, however, I won't be pleased! They wouldn't take it no reserve.
I sold a 2013 Golf TDI manual 4 door with the Tech package last year for $6800. It had 145k on it. My guess is you'll get a flurry of bids tomorrow. But, it seems the TDIs haven't been holding value that well compared to GTIs. Sucks they wouldn't take it with no reserve.
In reply to AxeHealey :
Oooof. You must be sweating it..... I hope it pops up there where it should be.
In reply to Indy "Nub" Guy :
Not sweating yet but I would definitely like to see a number much higher than this. Searches for comps results in nothing with similar miles listed for less than ~2x the current bid.
Let's look at it this way, if someone gets such a stupid good deal on it, I better have some DAMN good car karma coming my way!
In reply to AxeHealey :
The real money will come out in the last hours.
Have you noticed anyone asking a lot of real questions but not yet bidding? There is probably someone holding out and trying not to help draw attention to the auction.
I predict $11.5k
In reply to John Welsh :
Better knock on some wood for me! But I think that's typically what happens with any online auction that I've paid attention to. Hoping the same here. There has been some lively conversation in the comments but not all from registered bidders.
In reply to yupididit :
That's correct. They offer auctions with reserves but wouldn't take my car with one. I don't remember the exact reasoning offhand but it was something along the lines of, we've got tons of cars going for ~the number you're asking for so we'll only take it no reserve. It felt like, your car kinda ain't cool enough so we want to make sure that if we list it, it sells.
In reply to AxeHealey :
I'm surprised everyone on GRM isn't trying to buy it. It's the type of car that everyone here says they want.
In reply to yupididit :
If I had what I think it's worth, $11-12,000, I'd be on that car like flies on E36 M3.

Thats the... key
In reply to John Welsh :
The emails with new bids this morning have been exciting and I've had a number of emails back and forth with an interested party who hasn't bid yet.
Fingers and toes crossed.
In a fishing analogy, a 10 day auction like this is 9 days of casting your line and 1 day (maybe just the last few hours) of reeling in the line.
I'm confident you wont come up empty.
$8,000 @ 12:45
In reply to John Welsh :
If its anything like the auctions of, well, anything these days, expect the bids to go apeE36 M3 with an hour to go.
My last 3 cars on BAT went like this, in the last 6 weeks:
car 1: last 30 min $17k jump
car 2: Last 45 min $23k jump
car 3: Last 20 min: $14K jump
I actually tuned in to watch the end of the Skyline auction yesterday. It was really exciting and I wasn't even involved.
My friends rusted out twin to my mint 2012 FJC TT just sold last hour. It was 24K up till 30 minutes. Sold for $46K
