87 civic SI $700 - real or scam?

The scam may be that he says it runs and drives but overheats...thermostat.  

Otherwise, if it were a scam I wouldn't have listed it as 287k miles.  

Yeah $700 seems like it might be about right for that condition

Seller didn't say it was the thermostat. They said if could be the "thermostate or radioter " and those are unicorn parts.

That level of rot also tends to mean the panhard bar mount is rotted to nothing.  I still kind of want it, but only to gut and beat the hell out of.
