Listing for a friend. This was his father's car since new. Father is aging and doesn't drive it anymore, so it is surplus. Asking $4400, pretty firm.

Located in northern Delaware, just a few minutes off I-95. Call 302-463-04-niner-niner and ask for Tom. Tell him I sent you.

1995 Buick Roadmaster wagon
72,600 miles - 1 owner
Garage-kept most of its life
NO RUST
Well-maintained (engineer's car)
350ci/5.7l iron head LT-1
Grand Touring suspension with towing package
Leather interior with bazillion-way power front split bench seat
Tailgunner seat
Vista-view skylight
Concert Sound with cassette and Sony 10-disc CD changer

Has very minor bumps in both quarters, behind wheel arch. Port side is really only in the trim and it wouldn't bother me at all to leave it. Starboard side also involves some sheetmetal, but it sure looks to me like you could easily go in through the spare tire well and boink it back out. If you really cared you could replace the starboard side belt trim. You could also leave this side as is and in a week you'd never even notice it any more. Other than that I don't think it's ever been hit at all.

Interior is in great shape other than needing a general cleaning. Has the inevitable old-man compass attached to top of dash, and the CD changer control panel is surface-mounted.

I was considering this car for my daughter but I think I will pass, so I'm posting it here for you guys. I know there are some real fans in the crowd. This car is very, very good at doing what old-school American cars do best. It scoots when asked to and cruises serenely otherwise.

I drove this car about 5 miles, and it feels absolutely great. Front end is tight, dampers and springs are still fine. No shakes, shimmies, or rattles. Brakes firm and straight. Tires are good, Dunlop all-seasons with an almost-snow tread pattern.

Engine runs strongly, smoothly, and quietly. Transmission feels perfectly solid. Didn't run the AC but I am told it works and have no reason to doubt it.

Note: I took these pictures with my phone so forgive the quality. Also, my friend just picked the car up the night before these were taken so it hasn't been cleaned up in any way. A powerwash under the hood and a general interior cleaning will bring it right up.

[edit] Hrm, I have an under-hood pic but it doesn't seem to have uploaded. I'll post that tonight.

Owner decided to do a field repair on the quarterpanels. Not perfect, but much better looking than before. Just fine for a driver.

C'mon, somebody's gotta want this beast! I know there are plenty of fans here.

lol @ the '350HP' on the for sale sign.

Looks like a nice car for the right person.

The problem probably isn't the car (I love it).. it is the "$4400 firm" part.

GRM, for the most part, are cheap people, and asking almost half a grand over the KBB value probably turns most of them away.

I don't know, one of these sold on eBay last fall for greater than $12,000. If you want one, this is probably one of the best years, and they're not getting any less rusty or less miles. I think $4400 is a good price for both buyer and seller.

I'd be glad to sell my Mazda5 and switch to this. Just have to check my schedule.

Give him a call. He may have a little room to wiggle on the price. It belongs to his parents, who never drive it any more, but who also don't really need to sell it.

I love the old guy compass on the dash.

I'm thinking this is more of a $3k car to be honest. It's great looking baring the fender hits. Sounds like a solid driver. Tow rating on these things is 5k. That's pretty damned awesome. It could tow a lightweight trailer and a Miata.

In reply to bastomatic:

Not Insulting the price. EVERYTHING is worth what someone will pay, not some website's opinion. and if they Don't NEED to sell, might as well ask what they want, and hope it perfectly fits someone's needs.

Wood grain and tan interior is not my bag, so to me it is worth less, but to someone that likes that it is worth more.

and BTW, it is theoretically 260 HP.

Yeah, that's probably more like it than 350 hp, but I will tell you, it moves out.

These can lay a strip of rubber a block long. Which should be reason enough to buy it.

No doubt! I don't know if it has a posi rear but if it's an open diff....heavy car....narrow rear tires.....loads of torque = Burnout City.

That thing would make a great cruiser to be honest. I already noted it's towing abilities.
