Berkeley's are kinda like Lotus Europas or any French car. We all know someone who has or has had one, and only rarely are they in good enough shape for frequent use.
My real-world first name is Berkeley. These cars are cute and all, but if I had a choice of vehicles to be named after, Berkeley probably wouldn't be my first choice.
I am really glad I have got to have the experience restoring a Berkeley SE328. They are one of those cars I have always anticipated dragging home someday for a fun build. Now I know everything about them and how much I want nothing to do with one. Also, I barely fit even without a seat in the car.
In reply to Trent :
Well, if you're going to do it, you might as well make it gorgeous. Fine job, sir!
My friend bought an SE492 in Upstate SC, come to find there are like 2 more within an hour of him. How are so many of these things still around?! Cool little car, but with how little actual frame they have, I feel I want a full tube chassis.

The dog's rear end to the right of the car is a nice touch.
