I'm confused in a number of different ways.

I can't believe that much of a monstrosity has made it to $3500. Very sad.
Im not at all surprised that it has not reached reserve. Anyone with so little taste as to try to sell that monstrosity, prolly thinks it's worth a fortune.

I don't have to want it in order to appreciate it.
I get where they thought they were going with that and there is a lot of decent work done, but it also shows how hard it is to successfully design an automobile.
Besides the visual confusion, C4 corvettes were of the era when putting a human body inside of the vehicle was a distant and failed after-thought. I doubt this re-body made it better
That car has been for sale a few times. Chances are it will sell again since it does have a strong "Look at me" factor.

Yep. I imagine that looked better on paper than as built. I've seen a lot worse though.
I've seen that car in person at Carlisle a number of years ago (15, give or take?). It's reasonably well done if its what you want - a C4 Corvette with a Volvo 1800 body. With all of the driving characteristics and ergonomic failings of a C4.
It has been for sale quite a few times for various asking prices. As one can imagine, it attracts much ire from the classic Volvo community... When it was at Carlisle, it was on the show field with a large photo album documenting the build.
It's an abomination ....and yet... .....I find I can't look away...
I generally like these C4(and C5) rebodied monstrosities, but even I'll admit that this one is particularly bad.
Maybe I'm emotionally disturbed or mentally defective, but at first glance, I like it a lot.
The roofline always lets these sort of builds down

I'm a VERY odd dude. And poor taste, if safe craftsmanship is applied, rarely bothers me. But this one is just wrong
