I went up to see this while hunting for a project. Looks complete, chassis looks straight a and fairly rust free. Damage on roof from a fallen branch, Rusty fenders, does not run. Great platform if someone wants to build a race/track car or do something else mod wise. Clean title. He would probably take less. Nice seller and told me what he knew about it. But it will need extensive work. If I had a shed, would've bought and built up a restomod e28. It does need work.

Dang, I missed this. I'm looking for a cheap, manual e28 to do mod-ish things to if anyone sees one.

Yeah this would have been a great candidate. Will keep a lookout.

1981 to 1988 BMW 5 series, in 1989 they redesigned with the E34 and M20 engine. I had one, and still miss it.

81 was still E12.  82 was first year of E28.
