Does it have the cloth seats available? Stock radio?
If so, I might be able to rent a trailer and drive up and back in a weekend.
I somehow missed your questions until today.
There or NO seats in the car. I don't think the radio is in there, but I will check when I get home.
Stampie has my contact information if you want to text me about the car.
I have a co-worker who is vaguely interested the car, but if I give it to him, I doubt it will make it the Challenge.
Anyone want a free challenge car? I'd kinda like to get my driveway spot back.

Thanks, but I think it's too much hassle for too little gain for me.
Glw... give away?

Sometimes I feel like the 411 of GRM.
What if we all agreed to donate money to tape to the hood of this car. Try to make the first challenge car that you get paid to take? I'm in for a few $
How in the way is it right now

At the moment, it's parked on my gravel driveway, very much "in the way".
If someone here wants to claim it, but delay pick up, I can accommodate that, BUT, I'm going to drag it out of the driveway and into the grass. As you know, this will accelerate the tin worm, which is already pretty active in the car.
I was hoping to get it gone before I drag it to the grass and a deep sleep parking location. Additionally, the yard is very wet, and it's likely to sink in a few inches.

Yes, you are the GRM preferred connection.
In reply to Indy - Guy :
10-4. I don't think I can make it go away soon enough to put dibs on.

Something is seriously wrong.

not wrong. just different. i heart QUASI MOO.
Someone hurry up and take this so the empty 10feet on my driveway doesnt keep calling for it.
In reply to classicJackets (FS) :
Don't you have a 6.0 and T56 that would fit nicely in that RX8?
In reply to RacetruckRon :
I really do. Not sure I can claim the t56 within challenge budget, but I could probably get close.
If I didn't have a3rd kid coming it would be a lot easier to just do it.

Congratulations !!
Car is "Sold". Going to a coworker
Car has been picked up by "Ricky Bobby". He's VERY excited. I've encouraged him to continue the thread here on GRM. We'll see if he does.
Very glad this was not a "ricky bobby backed out car still available" post. Congrat on dumping it before you wasted any time or money
Hello all!!! They story of the RX-8 will live on in Middletown IN. I am a fellow member of the Prius community thanks to our beloved Indy-Guy. I was able to get the car to its new home tonight before the freezing rain headed for Indiana.
so far I'm going to give the car a good clean look over and look into a couple title options/routes.
As far as powertrain the LS junkyard swap sounds up my alley, but I definitely need to get acquainted with the new girl.
