Hi GRM - long time subscriber, infrequent poster. Listing my father's kit car on his behalf. Fun on the track and street. He built it about 15 years ago. I helped some. Since then he's been flogging it around various tracks in the midwest and driving it on the street occassionally. Good power (340whp), light (~2500lbs), 17x8's square, simple (carb'd SBC + TKO + Ford 8.8), and sorted. Buy and enjoy or tailor to suit your needs. GRM sticker on bumper included.

For sale: Austin-Healey Replica Kit Car - Classic Roadsters Sebring MX Kit
12,4xx miles
Location: Southern IL
Price: asking $15,000
Description:
Street legal and track capable SBC powered Austin-Healey replica kit car. The chassis, body, and manufacturer's certificate of origin are from Classic Roadsters. The car is licensed and titled in Illinois. It was built from 2002 to 2005 with a combination of Classic Roadster's specified parts and many new aftermarket performance components. This chassis is a similar frame used by Classic Roadsters for their Cobra kit cars and is a good platform to continue driving the car as-is or tailor to your taste for street, track, or show. The paint cleans up nicely but does have rock chips from road and track use, especially in front of the rear wheels.
Upgrades over the years since the initial build have included a new engine, new transmission, stronger rear axle, better seats and larger brakes. It is well sorted for street driving and track day use. Runs on 93 octane. Best described as a raw and exhilarating driving experience that's easy to work on and turns heads everywhere it goes. The combination of low weight, good power, and balanced suspension make for a fast and fun driving experience.
The car has completed countless track days around the Midwest over the past 14 years, including Gateway Motorsports Park, Putnam Park, Blackhawk Farms, Mid-Ohio, Waterford Hills, and Autobahn Country Club. Inspections performed before and after track days with frequent routine maintenance. The ride is firm but not harsh and can be altered via shock adjustments or different springs (included).
The engine can be cold natured on initial start up due to heavy oil (20w-50), performance camshaft, and electric choke behavior, however, it runs great after just a couple minutes of warm up. Significant documentation from build and manufacturer's build book included. Many spares and extras included (see list below). Selling to focus time and effort on a different kit car project.
