Agreed. There is a Maidstone Township in Ontario, and there appears to be a trillium decal on the cowl , just ahead of the driver's door. I suspect the cab is from a Canadian market truck.

Yes - full line of Mercury trucks sold in Canada. The non-light duty ones are more rare but you could find Mercury tow trucks, school buses, etc.
