Stumbled upon, this rare 1988 Nissan Van. The reason they are rare is that in 1994 after 4 recalls and 1 class action lawsuit, Nissan offered all customers a buy-back on the van. If the customer sold it back, the vans were crushed. The issue was risk of fire from too big an engine (2.4L) in too small a engine bay
Some back story
This one also a manual trans so I'll bet super-duper rare.
Oh man. I test drove one of these as a teenager. It had dual power moonroofs and a drink cooler between the front seats. I imagine life would have ended up a little different had I bought that instead of the Geo Prizm that I ended up with. It was an auto but it was still so cool.
If I were smarter I'd buy this and use it as a tow vehicle for f-dat.

I'm not sure "smarter" is the thing you'd be if you did that... but you should do that.
Paint it red and call it Ironhide.
Ah...these were the good 'ol days. You could have your choice of this, the Toyota Van or Mitsu Van (Delica). I would LOVE to have any of them. I'd also love to stay married.
My wife and I have some difference in our likes and dislikes when it comes to cars, lol

got T-boned in one of these in 1992. I'm still here so that's good I guess. Just missed that buyback though
