Wow, bidding already up past 2k. This gives me hope that my 99 with damaged top may not be completely worthless. Very nice.

I wouldn't be surprised if those bidders didn't carefully read and thought it was a complete car.
Well that's a misleading ad if I ever saw one. And if the seller is using the mechanical bits for a custom project why are they starting with such a nice car?
What the ad should say: "For sale: Miata inspired lawn ornament" or "For Sale: Miata in 'Bradley GT' condition"
