So, i bought this on a whim while whacked out of my skull on migraine meds. Did really no due diligence, etc. Not gonna lie, probably a dumb idea.
I bought it to flip. I figured id offer here before doing anything else with it. Id rather see yall get a truck you want to OWN, and me make no money.
1994 c3500 silverado. 2wd, 454, 4l80e. Headers, ultimate tbi mods, billet valve covers, egr removed, tbi spacer, no cats. Aluminum wheels. Manual windows and locks. No clear coat. Absolutely no rust whatsoever. Anywhere.
Also, no clearcoat on the paint, and it doesn't run. I dont think its locked up, as i can get the crank to turn a few degrees either direction with the crank bolt. Sounds like its hitting something in the bellhousing. Guy i got it from said it shut off driving and never spun again. Oil, coolant and plugs look good.
2750obo (parts value locally) in albemarle nc to a grm member. Id also trade for a late 3rd gen camaro or a 75-80 firebird. If it sits around too long ill fix and flip like planned. Or ls swap and drop. Or both. Clean clear title. I probably have gmt400 parts i can chuck in the bed when you leave.
Edit: hows 2500 obo sound? Its sprouted fresher tires for the rear as well now
Not gonna lie, I'm in for a dropped GMT400 dually build thread.

I really don't need my own truck but this seems like a flaming valve cover kinda deal
I wish I could afford it. Unemployed to new job = nothing left.
In reply to Ranger50 :
I'll trade you for a 76 Firebird or 92 Camaro
If this was a crew cab I'd be booking a flight down to NC.

It would be a really tiring push home.
In reply to RacetruckRon :
March 2020 this popped up at 6500? Diesel and running. I should have bought it.

Lol missed the non running part but it's a TBI big block it probably just needs a ground cleaned and percussive maintenance to the ECU
Why are there 4 starters in the passenger floor area?
3, and my beginning attempts at diagnosis. I grabbed my spare starters from storage thinking that maybe the starter was locked up not allowing the engine to spin more than a few degrees. Upon pulling the starter, that wasn't the case.

I agree with the bad ground, just off top of my head.
On another note, I'm about to finish a couple week job in SC, and REALLY need a gas truck! (If my wife travels with me this fall, the diesel is physically hard or her )
Dont need this much truck, but... VERY interested!
Will give ya a call.
Do you have an idea about how long it's been since the stop-running event?
also what's up with the accessory drive belt off? Just to rule out alt/ps/ac-compressor lockup?
oh and is it a Hydraboost setup? (or whatever they called it in GMT400 days) PS pump also provides brake boost?

According to the previous owner it stopped running the end of February beginning of March. I did remove the belt to rule out something in the accessory Drive causing the no crank issue. And yes it is Hydro Boost which is power brakes powered off the power steering pump
