I'm going through the fleet and deciding what I want to keep and what I don't. I'm on the fence with this one. I'm willing to give it free to a good home. Needs an engine and subframe bushings. I would like to remove the Krona parts but everything else goes with it. Willing to deliver in the SE or to Ohio in March.

Dang, that's an even better deal than my $50 Saab!
Auto trans, I presume (pretty sure I recall a thread where you acquired this thing)?

It's manual transmission (pretty sure).
I was asking about this in the BMW thread, because I thought I would like to have it, but alas, the acutal work to engine swap it, isn't something I want to do.
Hey I'm a FL local and looking for a rally project! Deffinately can make a new home with me!

Welcome.
Looks like the prospect of a free Saab enticed you to create an account and post. I hope you stick around.

SWMBO really doesn't want a project. I don't want a project; However, I do want a manual Saabawagen. Look away, look away.

I'm in Georgia and would love to have the car. Let me know when you can deliver or when I can pick up
dang, of all the days to not be on the forum first thing in the morning...
I don't need any more projects right now so probably for the best!

Full size Saab ute ?
I'll help you cut up another one
Sorry busy morning. I have Mr_Asa as first in line. If he passes I'll go down the list. I'll be busy until I get off work but I'll firm up plans then.
Weren't we just talking last night about this car?
Good call. Thin the herd.
I had to turn this down previously, my number one enabler said no. I don't blame her, we don't have a place to keep it.

If it passes down this far, I'd like to throw my hat in the ring. My '04 wagon got totaled a couple years ago, and I really miss it. It showed up at the pick&pull a few months later, so I grabbed the engine/trans, still sitting there waiting for the right project. I've done a couple engine swaps, so no worries there. It'd have to be when you get to Ohio - I'm in Michigan, so only a state away :)
If it passes this far to me, I'm in Ohio and would definitely be interested.
Nice car! A local Saab stealership runs one ice racing; they gutted everything aft of the drivers seat including the floor, then installed a Plexi wall to keep heat up front.

Little late tonight so I'll hit you up tomorrow morning.
At it's new home. Josh seemed like a great new owner for it.

Thank you again my friend. She's in good hands!
