Id much rather save a jag shell from the scrap yard, with a running engine not of a pure bloodline, that attempt to drive this abomination.
Prolly make a great drag car, but street manners would be a bit scary, me thinks.

Sir, you do not know me, or know anything about me.
If this is an attempt at humor, then you should make a better attempt at expressing that.
If it is you being a pompous condensending shiny happy person, (as some other posts suggest) you really don't want to go there with me, and an apology would be in order.
Two of the problems with online typed communication, is the high likelihood of misunderstandings, and the fact that too many Keyboard Komandos mistakenly think they can insult folks, while hiding in moms basement.
I've had at least acouple hundred cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats. Worked on everything from Alfa Romeo to Lancia Zagato
The folks on here that have some history have fun picking on each other. If a new guy comes out the box being an ass, that's a whole 'nother issue
It is humor. The fact that you see it otherwise or thing I'm condescending and calling me sir says A LOT about you.

Easy there big fella. You took a silly, flippant remark very seriously. We all have our moments and it's best to just roll our collective eyes and move on.
Peanut gallery observation-
I don't see how it could have been read as anything other than humor. Maybe I'm missing something.

Considering the context of your insults, on the other post, it shows something else. If you think that is a proper apology for a misunderstanding, then there is still a misunderstanding.

Not so silly in context of the other thread, that you might not have read. There are simple ways to communicate silly and flippant.

No worries. Polite input like that is always welcome.
On another thread, he told me (quite specifically) that I was not refined enough to apreaciate that a jag v12 was the greatest engine ever, and he saw no point in conversing with anyone that did not feel like him.
I pointed out there, that insulting people was not the way to make a point, and (although he's said "no point conversing) he continued to be insulting.
So, yea, I may have missed the humor. Even said so. His response make me still wonder.
