I would be all over that. Based on the level of workmanship that I can see, I am pretty sure it would have to be torn down to the ground and redone, but the DNA and curb appeal are all there.
Needs a tilt-hood in order to be able to work on the thing.
Looks like a 1.6L Miata motor. Anyone think the Mazda frame is also Miata?
What Mazda was built with a frame instead of being a unibody?

The Miata unibody strips down to this kind of structure that can be slid under a variety of other body-work. The body panels can be made to add structure to the Miata Kart or just decorative depending on the build.

The ad does say "Miata chassis, so I would assume it's from a Miata. But it is F B M, so no guarantee there.
