NOT EVEN AFFILIATED. Up on some guy's lawn next to a bastadized Honda (VFR?). Some engine stuff like the overflow tank is written in German; had me going until I saw the steering wheel.
I would like to talk to the guy about his 1961 Valiant that's been sitting for almost a decade though.
Is that chain holding the engine upright?

The stuff in German is because it was a joint MB project, based on the CLK. If you ever see one at a show, just hang around for a few minutes, the owner will tell you "it's pretty much a Mercedes"

"Fit" and "Crossfire" are both relative terms in this example.
That was a Honda ST1100 or ST1300. The VFR engine is transverse.

My quick internet-based research says there's about 8.5mm of difference in the bolt circle between a Crossfire and a C4 Corvette. Based on the roll cage I wouldn't be surprised if the builder figured that was close enough.

Crossfires drove nothing like a Chrysler but everything like a Benz.
It's built on the R170 SLK platform, swapping the metal roof for either a hard top or canvas roof.
Normally my first question is, "How much?" In this case it's "WHY?" Not that I'm criticizing, just curious. People often ask why my 68 Suburban has a 455 Buick engine.

Who knows. Call him and find out? I would think there would have to be something done to make those wheels fit on that car, either through an IRS swap or some kind of adapters.
There's a lot of things going on in these pictures that don't make sense.
What do y’all think that frond suspension on the Honda tadpole came from? I need one about that size.

The Crossfire is 100% a Mercedes R170 SLK320 assembled by Karmann. That manual trans is the same as a manual TJ Jeep Wrangler of the same model year.
They're... fine. This build may have improved the car.
