I predict a sale at 31,750
edit: it just crossed $28k in the auction.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
I see that. Over $35k and the clock keeps resetting. Good for you! I told my wife about it and she asked why so much. I told her "remember Ford v Ferrari? Well, Flyin' Miata is today's Shelby, IMO."

New high bidder. Make that three people...
Damn! $40 large!
Love the comment by the high bigger, who jumped it $2000 with 1 minute to go:
"it's only money. I can make more."
yeah, not gonna bid against that attitude!
EDIT: not that I was going to bid anyway. Just sayin'.
We had at least 5 active bidders up to the end. Wow.
I am proud to note that every single Miata that has sold for 40k or more on BaT was built by us.
Robbie is the contest winner with a guess of $34,900. Robbie, send me an email at keith@flyinmiata.com and I'll ship you a Flyin' Miata t-shirt :)
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Actually, looks like calteg put in an earlier estimate of $35k. So, shirts for both Robbie and calteg :)
I sent an email as well. Congrats on the sale!
Also, I'm sure the buyer got a bargain considering the hours of labor in that car... (Ask the buyer to make a thread with whatever they choose to use the car for?)
Also also, calteg clearly one this one. But if there happens to be a 2nd place t shirt, I'm not too proud to rock it.
The buyer has asked us to upgrade the cooling system in preparation for track work - but no hood vents if it can be avoided. It's not his first Miata :) Pokee will not be parked in a garage.
He's already ordered the "POKEEE" custom plate for it.

Not surprising to me. FM is to modern Miata what Yenko was to 60's Chevrolets.
You have a real business opportunity in front of you to only grow on that reputation.
Can I start a FM NE, located in MI. I'm home to Grattan and Gingerman, three hours from Detroit and Chicago. I'm ready for a career change, who's with me?
