Bring a Trailer always seems to have something interesting up for auction, no matter what your automotive taste. This 1973 Volvo 1800ES was restored in 2013 and features its original 2-liter 4-cylinder engine and Borg-Warner three-speed automatic. 49,157 miles are showing on the odometer and are believed to be original.

Be curious to know what they drive like? Volvo drivers seem more willing to treat the cars like real cars rather than just a hobby to be tinkered with.

112 HP in a 2600 pound car and a horrible slush box doesn't exactly add up to a fireball. With a manual 4-speed plus OD, it's a nice highway cruiser, but the automatic has a 1:1 top gear and a non-locking torque converter, so you're turning lots of revs at highway speeds.
