I'm wondering why we don't have a classifieds section over here. While it goes against the norm, I really enjoy throwing classic GRM priced cars up on the GRM $20XX Classified board but I'm not sure every classic reader checks those out.

For example, I would think someone reading this board would be interested in:

http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/200x-classifieds/69-fiat-ac-124-sport-coupe-1100-reno-nv/39008/page1/

Obviously there's a huge difference in CC prices, so maybe a sub-$10k and a $10k+ divider, or just make sure you have to enter the price into the title so people would have to know, something like what everyone already knows to do on the GRM $20XX Classifieds...

Just a thought.

There is something custom about the front clip. those lights look oval. http://classicmotorsports.net/classifieds/ It is hidden.

Doh, I feel dumb, but you're right the only place I found a link was at the bottom under 'cars'. Man I can't believe I bricked so bad. At the same time looking over those classifieds look like owner classifieds like the ones on GRM. I'm specifically looking for a place to dump nuggets from CL searches, word of mouth, other Forums/BBs regarding potential 'gems' to someone on here.

Yea the nose has been modified, the hood looks like it has a scoop in in, but something in me tells me it could be 'corrected'...

You didn't brick, the site did. There are a few areas of the site that are entirely too hard to find.

The classifieds as they exist now will be dying soon. There's an all-new Classic Motorsports site coming that will offer more stability, more features, and will be much easier to navigate.

When the new site launches (Mid October if we remain on schedule) our classifieds will be handled by RacingJunk.com like on the GRM site now, but we'll also have a section of the forum for you to share your ad with other CMS users.

Hope that helps, and thanks for being part of the Classic Motorsports community!

The folks at racingjunk.com have been good partners and sponsors for our events, and their classifieds are free to use online.

You'll be able to make a listing here on the forum to let other site users know about your car for sale, and they'll be able to tell you about whatever they're selling.

I wish we could have our hands in every jar, but sometimes you've gotta stick with what you can handle. In this case, being a classified marketplace isn't what we want to build our business on.

You'll need to log in to post.
