525 HP '79 Seville up for auction

Some crazy LSX crate engine and goofy looking '08 CTS rims.

Is it wrong that I knew it was an LS376/525 crate when I saw that power number? Same engine that I have in the Miata I'm not sure if it would be more surprising in the Miata or the Caddy.

Somebody wasted an LS motor on that?

Sold for $5000 (plus buyer's premium).

I'd fix the bumper and throw some 100 spoke Daytons on it, put on my fedora and make it my DD..

Damn the engine is worth more than that. I would have bought and swapped the wheels if I'd know it was coming up for auction. We need a thread for upcoming auction craziness.

I really like that aside from the rims.

At 4200+ lbs, it's still probably not all THAT fast. Likely does good burnouts though.

Weight-wise it's equivalent to a Charger/Challenger, so unless you're accustomed to driving a Veyron, it's plenty fast.
