Agreed...my google fu is has blocked chakras.
*EDIT....typed too soon. Still no info on who/what/why...but more pics. The fender skirts hide the tires fairly well.

Speculation there is that it's some sort of trailer towing rig.

As of 4/30/13, they were asking $75,000.00
Oddly enough, this one actually makes more sense to me:

And this makes less sense to me:

I just got off the phone with the guy, he says it's in a warehouse right now but will be out next weekend- I made it clear I just wanted to photograph and find out how it works, to get a little more info out about it and hopefully help him find a buyer. He said that's OK with him, so I'll hopefully have some pics of it up next Saturday.

I guess I'm left wondering why the third axle wheels are so immense. Maybe hubcaps would make them look more proportional, but that's neither here nor there.
That thing is ODD. I wonder what the motivation was.

I've seen that Olds airport limo (not that specific one) online a couple of times over the years. I think once on here, even. Too awesome for words.

I don't know... that picture (of a picture...) still looks fishy to me... the tag wheel just looks out of proportion (too large) to the other wheels.
not really, it is the same size, just lacking a cover makes it look all over bigger.
That said, I imagine that they could have used a smaller tyre for the extra weight capability as it did not need to be driven around on 24/7
Hold a ruler up to your computer screen, they ain't the same size. The rears are a good bit larger.
Now it could be that the rims are the same size, and he's just oddly got a massive set of tires on the rear. For they do look too large for the wells.
And when I go way back to my hazy days of drugs sex and rock and roll, wasn't this 6 wheeled notion kind of a craze back then? Seems to me there were some conversions made by companies. This might be one of them, in which case factory could refer to the conversion company.
