Hey everyone, I bought the 2017 crosstrek. I love it so far (though having just taken delivery literally 2hrs ago). Want to thank the guys that helped me in my "cx3 versus crosstrek" thread. To everyone that contributed a response, opinion, or fact: THANK YOU!
There is SO much knowledge here, and a great group of people that care about humans and cars. Couldn't have made this decision without y'all.
In the end, ground clearance and aftermarket fun out won the mazda (though I still like it!), and SWMBO liked that hyper blue.

Well if it's hyper blue, it's going to look a lot like this. (It just won't have the big ugly guy leaning on it! )
In reply to Nick (Bo) Comstock:
I will as soon as Photobucket stops being strange.
All I could get tonight. I know it's "Craigslist-esc"

Nice color. Didn't realize they came in blue, most seem to be either the orange or the dark green
Very nice. What's that white crap all over the ground? (supposed to be 70 and sunny where I am today... )
Congrats, nice car
they are a wealth of knowledge... enablers too
Congratulations. Yes, love the color.
I really like that color.
That new blue is an awesome colour on the Crosstrek.

Congratulations. I am sure you will enjoy it. I just wish the Outback came in some of the colors the Crosstrek does.
Subaru has a great color pallet these days. That blue, the orange and the Khaki make me do a double take when I see them
It is nice to see non metallic colors again

Yeah, this. I like all those colors. MINI had some nice non-metallic colors as well.
That was another win for the Xtrek over the cx3, the blue they had was alright, but Subaru's was better.
As well, again, that Subaru aftermarket support is to die for. Our last car (2011 Honda Fit) seemed promising for motorsports parts, in the end though the engine is reeled in by the computer, so you're left with an engine swap or a supercharger/turbo kit that doesn't do much. On These Xtreks, people have already cracked the ROM coding for increased fuel and timing to match engine enhancements. Not that I'll be going down that route, but it's nice to know it is there if I wanted to boost power a bit.
