Are there any options for a reusable performance sir filter besides K&N? While I have had good luck with K&N I was wondering what else might be out there for less money.

I have made filters for motorcycles using UNI foam. They also have automotive applications according to their web site.

Depending on the application, Summit Racing has a house brand that is also reusable, though I don't know if it is the same type of setup that K&N is.

For what it's worth, we had K&N's on our Coast Guard cutters and they were provided at cost. They also made filters for our experimental craft for free. Lots of support from them in that respect, it was nice.

S&B makes an almost-identical product. They're usually a bit less, but in many cases it comes down to whichever one is available in the size you need.

If you aren't too concerned about replacing filter elements, you can sometimes pick up some power with an airbox and filter for a bigger/more powerful engine. See if a Corvette airbox would work for you.
