360 (original 318) w/518 overdrive auto. 4wd
The rockers, wheel wells and frame are rust free. There is surface rust on the top.
It runs a little rough and seems to run rich. That explains the PO's complaint that it gets crappy mileage (4Mpg).
Anyway, I now have 2 Mazdas, a Mitsubishi, a Subaru, a BMW, an El Camino, a Jaguar and a Dodge. I feel like the Jay Leno of crappy cars.

Among Ramchargers id say that's a good one because it has an overdrive gear and the bigger engine.
What year is it? carb/tbi/magnum?

It is a 90. The PO swapped the 318 for the 360. I think it is an LA engine which would be year correct. They retained the TBI from the 318.
The grille is inside along with the partially disassembled interior. The PO had it for 19 years and started refurbishing the interior. A "new" Tahoe, engine swap teething problems and (I think) family pressure forced the sale. His daughter listed it on CL and the language in the ad and emails was quite insistent ("I need it sold ASAP!").
The PO loved this truck. He talked about the projects and tweaks he planned but never got around to and was very forthcoming about minor glitches.

All my vehicles are great and crappy. They take my knuckle skin, blood and sweat and I give them verbal abuse and new parts in return.
If all you want it to do is run right the TBI is probably the best option of the 3, very simple..

TBI probably will not ever get good mileage...but 4 is a little low. You'll probably be lucky to squeeze out 12 or 13, even with overdrive. FWIW, a 360 Magnum will get the same crappy mileage, but pick up a bunch of power.
