We had someone who autocrossed the living E36 M3 out of a salvage title SX4. Note the missing front and rear bumpers and 4 degrees of positive camber from a bent rear axle. Guy still had a riot and with some castoff Rivals did fairly well overall.

My wife is still impressed with how quick that Volvo is/was with that $150 Garrett T3 installed. So glad it got to see glorious rallyx in its lifetime! When I bought it (alarmingly close to Gary, Indiana) the lady was using it as a storage locker. With house plants in it and whatnot.
