Any experience with the M112 supercharger?

I noticed one for sale locally.  

I have this Volvo C30 and a Volvo 4.4 V8 and why not supercharge it too and make something stupid as this car will not be legal in California.

I had a ported Terminator and I was around 490 with supporting mods. I've seen upwards of 550 from other builds

That is impressive.   The 4.4 may not handle that much power, although the ozzy race version NA had 650hp.

I have been seeing takeoffs on eBay really cheep. Has me thinking that I should get one. I don't have a use at the moment but if I had one it would be fun to see what I could attach it to. 

The Supercar version was 5.0L and NA.  The turned the engine back to longitudinal and had room for sweet headers and cool velocity stacks.

The Noble M600 used the 4.4L V8 with twin turbos spitting out 650HP:

Is the Noble M600 a SuperCar?  Can a SuperCar have a Volvo engine?    :)

What transaxle did they use in the Noble that can handle 650hp.   I was thinking transverse v8 in the back, but not as cool for sure.

It's a Graziano 6spd transaxle.  Serious gearset.

The Aisin TF-80SC in the S80 would almost certainly vaporize if asked to cope with 650HP.

It might vaporize with just 400hp which probably the level I'd be at.    It gives me this odd idea to eliminate the transmission altogether, and have it drive a 8.8 diff directly in a longitudinal setup.   Insanity??    Yes!
