someone on another board asked about these cars, which are essentially a Lincoln Continental built on a Ranchero body and google is telling me that they either were or weren't factory built or that they maybe were or weren't done by some custom shop somewhere:
looks easy enough to emulate: ranchero body with Lincoln sheetmetal and interior bits...
but i figure if anyone would know anything about these oddballs, it would be someone here..
Probably a Flower Car for funerals. I would guess custom coach builder who focuses on limos built these cars.

No, but I've seen a Ford Durango.
I've seen a early 60s Lincoln Flower Car. The conversion used a whole lot of bondo.
That doesn't look like a hack job. I'm guessing professional flower car.
I believe it was done by a company called Tropez out of florida. I've seen a Mark V version once at a car show and vaguely remember the conversation.
