So my brother bought a car from Copart in Indianapolis and it needs to be picked up by Friday and stored for the weekend until he can get out there to grab it. He has some other commitment and can't make the trip before the crazy storage fees kick in. If anyone on here is from the area, has a truck and open trailer and can help out, please let me know. We can work out the arrangements and compensation for your time/fuel/storage.

Does Copart offer shipping?

I buy from IAA in the Cleveland, OH area and IAA offers shipping. At IAA, if you sign up for their shipping they waive the potential late/storage fees. This does not mean your vehicle will leave the IAA lot before the late-fee-day. It may, or it may not but if it leaves later there is no storage fee.

I had my car shipped via IAA for 39 miles and it cost $118 which looks like $3/per mile.

But the $118 saved me potential $50 late fee and I needed to rent a $50 uhaul dolly = $100. For just $18 more, it was all done for me....value!

My further point is that if Copart offers shipping you might not be asking a local GRMer for 2 things of pick up and store but only asking for 1 thing of, "can I have a tow truck drop a car at your house for you to store?"

PS: whad'ya buy?

I'm 2hrs away and unfortunately can't get over to grab it. I can store it at my place till you can grab it if that helps? I'm in Anderson Ohio just on the east side of Cincinnati Oh on the 275loop. Also curious whatcha bought.
