It's not very close to me. But I can give it a try if no one closer can help by this weekend. I'm not too familiar with mazdas either.... What were you inytrested in having looked over? If its fit and finish I can probably help, otherwise ill need some specifics to look for.
Mostly fit, finish, and overall appearance of the car. I know it has a few dings, but want to have a set of eyes in the field look at them. Also maybe tell me how well it starts cold, and warm as well.
Anyone else that is closer able to look at it?

In reply to JtspellS I had an 04 Base model 6-speed new for a year, and loved it, but the series two cars look so much better especially the R3. I am not sure I want to own a black car, but the R3 looks so nice in that shade.
I'm not too far away if you wanted to set up a time for me to meet with the seller this weekend. My brother has an '06, I'll drag him along.

Am I nuts wanting a black car? I like all three colors the R3 comes in, but for some reason I love the black version the best. I have never owned a black car, but my wife has a 2000 Protege ES in black. It looked great when clean, but rarely was. I wish we got the R3 in white like they did in Canada, but alas we can't get them here.
Mine is black (different type of black) and as long as you can wash at least once a week its not terrible at all just cant slack on it

The black on your sport is different than the R3? Why would they do that? Black is a pretty simple color, how is it different on each car?

Thank you bluescooby for looking at the car for me!!! I am seriously thinking about making an offer on the car. My next question though is I found an R3 in white (not available in that color in the US) on eBay in Canada. What would the laws be on bringing said car down to the lower 48? I know the cars are available here in the US, so is it conceivable that one could take a Canadian spec car down here seeing as they should be the same aside from the paint? I just love these cars in white!!!
