So my previous thread regarding engine choice for my Duster got me doing a little digging....I knew that there was a hot straight-six in the Aussie Valiants, but I don't know much more than what's on the valiant.org website. So does anyone know about these beasts? Do they share a bellhousing bolt pattern or engine mounts with the American /6 or LA motors (my, that would be nice). Does anyone want to wipe the drool off of my chin from staring at this picture?
(proudly hotlinked w/o permission from http://www.valiant.org/valiant/hemi-six.html (but check it out, it's a really cool site))
I'll pass the napkin. Thats all the help I'll be here.
Cool engines. Started as a possible replacement for the Slant Six in trucks, program stopped, then sent to Australia.

Welp, there goes my productivity today.
The pictured engine is not a Hemi.
My six-cylinder drooling has a different slant:

I did that - TWICE!
Once in a '65 Valiant and once in a SWB van.
What is that blue RHD #96, please?
It's called a Valano GT. One-off made from a Milano GT kit.
HERE's everything I know about it.
