The top on the NC is physically in good shape, but the black has faded a bit. It's a Grand Touring which on the spec sheet says "cloth." Is cloth interchangeable with "canvas?"

Any other suggested products?

I think it was the 303 product that the BMW guys recommended back when I had the 328iC. Seemed to work pretty nicely.

Hmm, looks like they sell cleaners/protectants, but no dye's.

The 328's was grayed out a bit, but it looks a lot blacker after you get the protectant into it. You should try cleaning it thoroughly then applying 2 coats of the protectant.

I think Renovo is the way to go if you have a very faded or uneven coloured top. I never used it but the consumer reviews are good. I use 303 stuff on my MINI and it was good stuff. You could get a kit with cleaner and protectant and see if that does it for you, then get the renovo dye stuff if you need it.
