Its a '76 Pacer customized - I think it looks great. Aggressive and even exotic. Not my pictures so no more details sadly.

Wow, it's a Pascher 944! I like it!
Now only if they had lightened it up and stuck a rotary under the hood like AMC originally planned.
I agree, the tail is a bit too long. I kinda dig it though.
It seems to be sitting all by its lonesome. . . strange. . .
can you imagine his friends thoughts on this?
"it is a bad idea to customize a pacer, what are you thinking?"
but it does not look too bad...
<--- thats what that car reminds me of.

It needs that big tail because its the 'skorpion'. Some people should not be allowed to own cars.
I actually think it's a really cool creation, but it's completely ruined with those bullet hole stickers that you can see in the second pic. Why, why why!!!
"Hey, i just completed a completely custom, one off pacer exoticar, it's missing something on it's fresh paint, something that gives the look of living a thug lift but not so thug lifey...I know! Bullet hole stickers! Classy"
On a related note, a friend of mine's brother had a really old and gold honda civic wagon from like the 70's and he called it gold thunder. It was a real better he enjoyed thrashing, he even put a sweet compressor powered air horn on the roof. Since all the punks around here were putting those stickers on their cars he decided to just shoot holes in his door. Much better affect.
Luke, I agree... lot of Alpine there. That's not a bad thing. Shame about the whale-tail and bullet stickers. Cheese.
Wow, some Saw-Zall magic there for sure!!!
Too bad about the bullet holes and tail. I see cars at the shows that are done and done well, but the owner still has this I-gotta-do-something-constructive mindset and tarts the thing up with tasteless stickers and gaudy nonsense.
I know when to stop, I just gotta get there first....
i've always seen 928 in the pacer's greenhouse. no, the pacer came first, so i guess i've always seen pacer in the 928. either way, minus the cheesy quarter window scoops and with a milder tail treatment, i'd rock it.
I dunno. Just looks like an AMX roof on a pacer. Sort of an AMC products in a blender mixed with budweiser and bourbon. The stickers and wing are proof of the alcohol
Still Fugly
that really does look cool and makes the pacer look cool....i ave never liked the pacer myself..but this one rocks even with the boat tail....
It's cool, but I like these two a bit better:
Lose the tail, the side scoops and that weird triangular hood opening and that could definitely reside in my driveway.
looking at the stock pacers.. the rear scoops are probably there because the owner of that pacer could not get windows to fit

I've never personally wanted to chop the top on a car until now. 2-3" lower and it'd be great.

It would definitely get the rotary then....
Edit: and a Miata suspension....
and big old FAT tires....
Dude you're running out of room....
I do not know if I am more impressed by the original post, or that the pictures from a 13 year old thread are still working.
