Have you run the car on fresh R25B's yet? If not, you can easily find another second on a course like that. My car is like night and day on fresh rubber even vs. tires with only 3 or 4 heat cycles.
Nope, the fresher (but not new) R25Bs are now mounted and I'm saving them for the Dixie Tour.
The 25a/35 combo I have now will be good to get me through the next few local events and since those rears are so short, it'll help me get used to shifting. They're from 06 or 07, I think. That said, still have decent enough grip.
I'll probably muddle through the season on the R25B takeoffs until Nats, and then I'll break open the piggy bank for some fresh sticker tires. By then, I'll know the exact size I need and it should be pretty straightforward.
