truck is a 1987 gms s15, 2.8 five speed, 2wd. challenge 09 competitor.

ive had a vibration since ive bought the truck that i just cannot find. it starts at about 55 MPH. gets really bad at 60. the wierd thing is that its intermitant. it will sometimes go away, and sometimes change the speed it shows up at. happens regardless of gear, with or without the clutch being engaged. so its not in the motor/trans. may be in the mounts though, but i doubt it. i have changed everything, and checked everything i can think of and still have this vibration. anyone have any ideas? im thinking now that maybe i have a frame crossmember loose, or maybe even bad cab mount bushings that are allowing the cab to shake. im grasping at straws.
the trans, rear, suspension, wheels, tires, steering linkage, bushings, steering box, and steering shaft have all been changed. hell, ive even changed the spindles, LCA's, and UCA's. no changes. the only thing thats the smae is the front rotors, frame, and body bushings. as well as the motor mounts. trans mount has been changed.
ypu feel it primarily in your back and the seat of your pants, which to me says its in the rear. i think the shaking in the wheel is due to the whole truck shaking that bad.
ive messed around with pinion angles, swapped driveshafts, and on and on and on. its really starting to piss me off. so please, help.
