With the recent street rally thread going in two different directions, I thought a dedicated Baja thread would be appropriate.
Think of a modern take on the Baja Beetle. The rally Lexus or the Mustang that the Jed posted is perfect. Suspension lifts, skid plates, winches, roof racks.
Post pics. Lay out suitable (or unsuitable) chassis, or just general ideas. Let's cram this thread full of awesome.
I always thought the E36.. especially in Ti trim, would make a decent looking softroader

An offroad sport bike with clipon handlebars seems like a really bad idea.
Similar to the Rav4 above, this Saturn Vue picture always looks cool but given the very pedestrian AWD system in these vehicles, I would expect the results are underwhelming.
