I'm still pondering the "mandatory pit stop" rules..seems to me that without them, the #7 would have finished in front of the #8, especially after the mistake the driver of the #8 made on the 2nd to last pit stop. And the #29 would have finished on the same lap.
That being said, I watched the last two hours of it (a fellow corner worker on FB gave me a link), and absolutely enjoyed it! Man, Bathurst is a wicked place to hold a motor race!
You would think a 12 hour race would have a few pit stops anyway.
Yeah, Ustream had the coverage, yeah the factory battle was pretty good! That spin was just funny!
Lowndes did good!
