So, GRM is running an #ad on social media for Holley where you can win a 1000+ HP 632 Big Block Chevy engine. You can read about it, and enter here:

So, let's say that you beat the odds and win this beast of an engine. What are you going to put it in? And what are you going to do with it when you are done?
There's a rusty E30 sitting here that needs sheet metal work around where wheel tubs could go...
Or, more likely, I'd pull the 6.0 out of my 67 Camaro, put the 632 there, and drop the 6.0 in place of the 350 in my 82 Camaro.
Much like the hoonigan clan, I'd drop it in my turdgen.
Probably the ugliest 2wd dually I could find.
I would ruin another Ram50 in a heartbeat with that motor.
I would swap it into an eBay auction so fast it would make your head spin.
Mrs VCHs '68 Camaro, with the two child seats in the back.
I would have to source a Chevelle. Preferably a 1970. Then figure out how to keep all of that under the hood.
I would love a BBC for my '72 El Camino. Don't know if I want 1000+hp from one, and all the supporting mods, but it would be pretty sweet.

All the necessary support it would need would be what kills it for me as well. Could I build something to handle 500HP? Yeah, I believe so. Double that? I kinda doubt it.
In reply to Mr_Asa :
Exactly. I have a tired TH350 and a 8.2 10-bolt...

Pretty obviously, the truck. I would need a different transmission and read end though. May as well do a four link when I do the rear end, and then it could wheelie.
In reply to BradLTL :
How much could I sell it for?
Thinking more I don't want it unless the factory tested it to 8300 rpm for three hours.
I guess I'd put it in the Suburban 2500 in place of the 8.1 since the rest of the drivetrain could kinda sorta handle it with some trans upgrades. Otherwise.....what "fun" transmission can you actually bolt to it that would live?
In reply to gearheadE30 :
If you need to shift, you are doing it wrong.
Not being facetious. I drove a 632ci Chevelle with a 4 speed and the transmission was as annoying as it was unnecessary. Imagine having to rev match every UPshift because the engine decelerate faster than you could shift. Chirp the tires and snap your head forward if you didn't. Easier to just take off in 3rd.
