So I may be parting with the 97 S10.......

As such I will need to fill the void with another truck and I have always enjoyed the D21 Hardbody Nissan. I have an opportunity to get a 94 single cab, short bed manual 2WD with like 100K miles.  I plan to keep it stock looking but boost it.

Plans are -

Cast T3 manifold

8:1 FMU

340 LPH pump

.48 AR T3

CM Stage 3 clutch

blah blah blah...........

Around 6-7 psi I should be close to 200 whp or so.  I am not sure about the turbo sizing.  I want fast response and this turbo will flow up to 350 HP.

Suggestions?

The D21 uses the KA24E, which is the single cam version of the KA used in the 240sx (early 240s used a single cam as well). At one time, it seemed like everyone with a 240sx threw away the KA to swap in an SR20 or RB engine, but now due to cost and supply of SR20s, the KA has become very popular for turbocharging. Long story short, many shops/tuners have already worked the bugs out. You might want to talk to Matt at HDT auto, he and his team have boosted more KAs than I can count beyond 400 hp. They're in eastern Pennsylvania - 717-868-2171 is the shop line.

I know there are some minor differences between the truck motor and the KA in the 240, but he should know exactly what turbo you'll need.
