I only count two, one of them just happens to cover half the rear quarter. I'm thinking the spring that needs replacing, is probably in the trunk by now.

Kept it in "top shape" for sure. Probably didn't realize that was happening on the right rear, since you can't see that part from the drivers seat, ya know?

Isn't that pretty light rust for a Michigan car?

That's pretty good, usually the plastic cladding has fallen off a long time ago because there's no rocker left to hold it up.

Yesterday I replaced a halfshaft in an '04 Acura because it rusted in half. Michigan is light for rust.

Somehow, hitting that picture is quite startling. Yesh!

The right rear is just 1 of the 2 or 3 rust spots. It's just a big spot.

When that little hole joins with the disintegration of the fender, it'll have one less rust spot!

Probably so. The Taurus wasn't known for its rust protection qualities.

I don't see more than 2 or 3 rust spots. What's your point?

Wow, I wasn't sure what to expect from the first few pictures because it looked so clean.

So in AZ we get destroyed clear coats, in the Michigan they get man-sized tin worms. Guess I'll take the bad paint and shut my mouth
