This is the response to date, I have sent more info to him now. I have also made a request from Jet Performance

"For an engine to actually make that much power I'd recommend the HP series Holley which is much more appropriate if you're actually wanting to make that much power out of a small block Chevy. We'd custom build it and design the throttle geometry, fuel curve, and racing package internally all for road race rally type uses, all of which cannot be done with a quadrajet. The quarajet functions purely on vacuum signal and although it can feed that much of a motor, it is not at all designed for delivering the quick throttle response that the all out racing carbs can do. At any rate, for us to modify a quadrajet to the best of its capabilities to feed that much motor, it usually runs about $295 plus shipping if you send us your carb. The same fee goes for us doing a Holley carb for you from your core. We also can supply the carb outright (where you just buy a new carb from us). The cost for a quadrajet would run about $495 plus shipping. The Holley HP series carb, brand new and custom built for that application would run about $795 plus shipping.

Hope this helps, and let us know if you have more questions. Thanks for the inquiry," Dayton Umholtz, co-owner Kinetic Performance
