We want to do a podcast with a message board regular. If it isn't completely creepy we may even do it again sometime.
But for the first one, we want you to nominate one of your own (or yourself). Use this thread and tell us who you want to hear expose their most personal secrets via mp3. We'll give it a week or so.
Selected individual must have a working phone and half an hour or so of free time.
Go.
This is the best idea I have heard all day.
Wally. Because the dude's autocrossed a berkeleying bus man! Plus he's funny as hell.
There's more I could think of, but he popped to the top of my head.
Swank for obvious mazda related swap reasons
or Sachilles, about working for a professional motorsports operation
Everyone who wanted to hear or see me was able to in the PCA Club Racing video
I nominate me -- you could ask me about my "good judgment" driver's meeting soliloquy.
I'd also like to hear from Wally . . .

I nominate GPS. Should be entertaining if not family-friendly.

Nohome, becaus eof his awesome -completed- project and his awesome ongoing project
Also, the top three finishers in the Challenge should each get a show every year as a rule

That's what I was thinking, but then I realized I'm deaf enough as it is, without hearing 15 minutes' worth of bleeped-out "berks" and Bob Costas references.
First I think the challenge finalist idea is great.
I'm going to throw Tuna under the bus because of his build thread and the story in the magazine about it.
If you haven't already then keith tanner. If you have Please link to this thread
Karl and Curtis, though I think the Curtis podcast should only be available after the kids are asleep.
Kieth gets plenty of press already.
Wally, EvanB, Swank, plenty of ideas.
If you want to do motorsports segments, you can get Sachilles and all of those guys together in one podcast.
You could also do regional guests to talk about their areas, the clubs around, why Atlanta has all of the good cars, that kind of thing.
Challenge top three, definitely (if they want to – some people are not microphone-friendly.)
Maybe Javelin?
Lesley, if she's not jet-lagged from testing Lambos in Lapland or something.

Spirit of the game to ANY Challenge entrant; nobody arrives at that venue without a story about what it took to make it happen. And the Tuna for sheer bullheaded perseverance in the face of life happening. Repeatedly.
I vote for Mazdeuce, just for stories like this:

You get to hear about the two year leak and raising chickens next to the toilet.

Mix Curtis with JG and it might turn into a reading of the next 50 shades book....
Nashco could be a good one as well, since he's made the trip from the PNW to the Challenge more than once and he's built some cool ass stuff.

Margie was one of my favorites so far. Wouldn't mind hearing her again.
Andrew N is a great story teller.
There was once a dark and sinister clown who figure 8 raced a school bus in full clown costume... Maybe he's too dark and sinister.
How about some of the old timers with racing memories that are 60 years or more?
Also wouldn't mind hearing from a couple of the great one man teams that have done well at the Challenge.
Skierd. He sold his stuff, rode his motorcycle to Alaska and let us watch while he built his house.

Yeah I was going to change that to "interesting challenge entries" instead.
Jumper K. Balls/ Ditchdigger for Ferrari/ vintage Abarth restoration stuff, general badassery.
HOHOME, Nashco, and KB58 for obvious reasons.
There are so many people who have done cool things. I would love to hear from Andrew Nelson or Nashco too. GPS or Curtis would be good ones. I wouldn't sit through a half hour of me. I'm only good a minute or two at a time.
I also vote for GPS. He has some racing experience that would be entertaining for the podcast.
You could choose me.
I'm exceedingly average, don't speak clearly and don't think before I talk.
It would be the perfect, "What NOT to do," interview.
...but I nominate Lesley.
